Anna Wendt
Senior Subsurface Energy Analyst at KeyLogic Systems
Anna Wendt is a Senior Subsurface Energy Analyst at KeyLogic Systems, Inc. Anna is a site support contractor to the Energy Systems Analysis Group at the Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Lab (NETL) in Pittsburgh, PA where she researches the resource availability and implementation costs associated with carbon storage and investigates ways to improve recovery from unconventional resources. She was previously a postdoc in the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute at The Pennsylvania State University where she worked with citizen scientists to investigate the origin of methane concentrations in Pennsylvania’s streams. This work was recently recognized as the Journal of Contemporary Water Research and Education Paper of the Year. She also has completed extensive research on the geochemistry and depostional history of the Marcellus Shale. She earned her PhD in Geosciences from Penn State in 2015.
